A hard week

I was so pumped to start working out this week. I didn't care that my baby decided that nightime was stay up and play time. I went three days in a row, working every muscle possible and waddling like an old lady from all the muscle soreness. I had a hard time picking up the baby and my third child, but kept thinking it would go away soon. Then my milk supply started to slow down and has become pretty non existent. So I stopped. Now I'm worried it won't come back at all. It's all pretty frustrating to me. I don't want to stop working out but don't want to stop breastfeeding either. Plus I'm exhausted from sleepless nights, emotional, and I just want my cake and to eat it too. Yes, I'm whining.

  1. Getting back in shape is so hard after having a baby! Especially when you're trying to breastfeed. I struggled with milk production after my first two so this time I'm just trying to slow down and be patient (even though it's sooo hard!) I just keep telling myself, the weight will come off, slowly but surely.) One thing that helps is drinking tons of water (and of course making sure you're getting enough to eat) I've found that if I do that then I can still work out regularly without affecting my supply. Good luck and don't feel bad about whining, we all need to vent sometimes!
